Federico N. Fernández

Federico N. Fernández is President & CEO of the Fundación Internacional Bases and of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference "The Austrian School of Economics in the 21st Century", which is held alternatively in Europe and Latin America. Federico is also Executive Director of Somos Innovación (the Latin American alliance for creativity and innovation) and CEO of We Are Innovation (Somos Innovación's sister organization for Europe).

Federico's work, both articles and campaigns, has appeared in The Economist (UK), El País (Spain), Yahoo Finance (USA), El Comercio (Peru), Folha de São Paulo (Brazil), Newsweek (USA), Asahi Shimbun (Japan) and La Nación (Argentina), among others.

Federico has lectured on three continents, is the author of academic articles and co-compiler of the books "Al maestro Dr. Alberto Benegas Lynch (h)" (2022), "Austrian economics 150 years after Carl Menger" (2021), "The indispensability of freedom" (2020), "An Austrian in Argentina: Essays in honor of Alberto Benegas Lynch (Jr)" (2015) and "The Austrian school of economics in the 21st century" (2007).

José A. Cambareri

José Cambareri is Executive Director of the Argentine Taxpayers Council of Fundación Internacional Bases. José has a degree in Environment. Founder and Director until July 2021 of the Argentine Taxpayers Association.

José Alberto León M.

José Alberto León is Project Director at Fundación Internacional Bases, as well as Senior Fellow at the think tanks CEDICE Libertad and Fundación Ciudadano Austral. Previously, research and content assistant at Fundación Para el Progreso. Co-author of the book "Después del Socialismo, Libertad" (After Socialism, Freedom). He studied Law at Universidad Central de Venezuela.

Jeremias Rucci

Jeremías Rucci is Project Manager of Fundación Internacional Bases. He is currently studying Law at the National University of La Plata. He is also an SFL Alumni and co-editor of the 65-author tribute book: "Al Maestro Dr. Alberto Benegas Lynch (h)."

Luis León Pardo

Luis León Pardo is the Project Manager of Fundación Internacional Bases. Luis is an entrepreneur with experience in business development and venture capital. He is the CEO of Libertum and has worked in Web3, launch pads, DeFi real estate, and incubation projects. Luis is also an occasional speaker on topics related to new technologies and their impact on business and/or politics. He has an innovative vision and a focus on sustainable growth.

Marianela Soledad Mendoza

Marianela S. Mendoza is a Senior Research Fellow at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Marianela studied Law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). While still a student, she joined the Judiciary of the Province of Buenos Aires by competition until 2017, when she started her Law Firm specializing in tax and corporate matters. Likewise, he taught classes of Law of Obligations, and in 2021 she had his own television space in the cultural program "Estilos y Tendencias." She currently lives in Córdoba, where she also practices Law and teaches at the university.

Horacio Arana

Horacio Arana is Senior Research Fellow at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Horacio has a degree in Agricultural Economics (UB) and a Master's in Business Administration (IAE). Academic Secretary and Professor of Principles of Economics FCE-UAI. Researcher on the Austrian School of Economics topics, he has participated in international congresses and written articles on the specialty.

Alexander Ubaldo Gutiérrez

Alexander Gutiérrez is a Research Fellow at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Alexander is a Sustainable Mobility and Innovation Specialist. He has more than six years of experience in the government sector, specifically coordinating the development of public policies and technical research. Since 2019 Alexander has held the position of Parliamentary Advisor and Researcher in the National Assembly of Panama. Additionally, he is studying for a Master's Degree in Software Engineering and performs consultancies as a Digital Business Analyst.

He is a member of Fundación Libertad Panamá and an Alumni of the International Academy for Leadership (IAF) of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. ICT Finalist Americas 2021 and Youth Delegate of the VI Young Americas Forum of the Americas Business Trust (YABT) and the Organization of American States (OAS). He is currently exploring topics such as smart cities and smart mobility.

Sherley Almeyda

Sherley Almeida is a Research Fellow in Education Policy at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Sherley holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the Universidad de Los Hemisferios and a Master's in Public Policy from the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales-FLACSO Ecuador. She is a specialist in educational policies emphasizing high school and higher education.

She is a former director of the children's theater group "La Máscara." She has eight years of experience in secondary teaching and three years as head of the Art Department. She has been the Ludoteca Flor y Canto volunteer coordinator at the Baca Ortiz Hospital since 2010. Teacher and workshop leader of public speaking and non-verbal communication tools, stage performance, and voice management. Logistic Coordinator of the Political Training Center-CEP of Fundación Libre Razón since 2021. Author of Handbook 3, "Politics in Process" of the Political Training Center of Fundación Libre Razón.

Yessica Sophie Alvarado Ramirez

Yessica S. Alvarado Ramirez is a Research Fellow at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Yessica holds a B.A. in Economics from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. She has experience in economic research, with published articles such as "The Inflationary Crisis facing the World Economy," contributions to finance projects developed for the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and aspires to build her career in the field of Monetary Policy.

Alison Adriana Berbetty Omiste

Alison Adriana Berbetty Omiste is a Research Fellow at Fundación Internacional Bases. Alison is a lawyer and Systems Engineer. She is also an academic and activist for Human Rights, serving as a Latin American reference for Gender Equity in Science and Technology through leadership in technological communities.

Camila García Carou

Camila García Carou is a Research Fellow at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Camila has a degree in Tourism Management. She defines herself as passionate about tourism who is dedicated to taking the best of the industry to economically expand the different destinations and make both locals and tourists benefit from the activity, creating sustainable and responsible management.

Gabriel García Álvarez

Gabriel Garcia Álvarez is a Research Fellow at Fundación Internacional Bases. Gabriel is passionate about disseminating and defending the ideas of freedom, focusing on economics, academic freedom, and the freedom of education.

Lucia García Encinas

Lucia García Encinas is a Research Fellow at Fundación Internacional Bases. Lucia is a professional economist, a graduate of the Universidad Mayor de San Simón. She is interested in research and has served as a research assistant at IESE and SDSN Bolivia. She believes that the solution to climate change lies in promoting the free market.

Valeria Guzmán

Valeria Guzmán is a Research Fellow at Fundación Internacional Bases. Valria is a law student, political activist, representative of Legado a las Américas in Ecuador, senior local coordinator of EsLibertad Ecuador, and a former fellow of the Foundation for Progress (FPP) in Chile. She also holds a diploma in Austrian Economics and Public Policy, is a TFAS alumni, and vice president of the Conference of Americas' Youths.

E. Iván Orellana

Iván Orellana is a Research Fellow at Fundación Internacional Bases. Iván holds a degree in Business Management from Universidad del CEMA in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He worked as a Business Analyst at Banco Galicia, where he worked until 2019 in the areas of Management Control and Continuous Improvement. At the end of that year, he moved to Spain to further her studies in Finance and completed the Master's in Portfolio Management at the AFI School of Finance in Madrid. He is preparing for his first exam at the CFA Institute, which has granted him a scholarship. Author of numerous articles on economics and finance.

Heidy Elian Paredes

Heidy E. Paredes is a Research Fellow at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Heidy is an Economist from the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco with a master's degree in conflict resolution and a postgraduate diploma in public management. She has worked on development projects at the management, planning, advisory, and technical assistance levels for international cooperation companies and the government. Co-founder of the Institute of Citizen Culture. She develops research on citizenship and social conflicts. She is currently a technical advisor on economic development for the German Development Cooperation.

Andre Alexander Perez Cornejo

Andre A. Perez Cornejo is a Research Fellow at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Andre holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal (UNFV). He has experience in elaborating research projects in the financial field at the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and aspires to develop his career in the field of Monetary Policy.

Jackeline Isabel Puruaya Taya

Jackeline Puruaya is a Research Fellow at Fundación Internacional Bases. Jackeline has a Bachelor's Degree in Law due to her passion for reading (Universidad Nacional de San Agustín de Arequipa, Peru) and Frontend Web Developer due to her curiosity. She has received scholarships from Banco Santander and Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM) for IE University and The Ideas Behind Current Events: A seminar, respectively.

Leonard de Jesús Quinde Allieri

Leonard Quinde is a Research Fellow at the Fundación Internacional Bases. Leonard also serves as an Analyst at the Chamber of Industries of Guayaquil, a Local Coordinator of Students for Liberty, a board member of Fundación Libre Razón, and an Associate Scholar at the Ecuadorian Institute of Political Economy. He is an Industrial Engineer and Agricultural Engineer with a Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Diploma.

Carlos Siri

Carlos Siri is a Research Fellow at Fundación Internacional Bases. He is a graduate in International Relations and Business at the Evangelical University of El Salvador, a volunteer in the team of columnists of the academic training area of Vida SV Foundation, a columnist for Students for Liberty, and a collaborator in the area of executive direction of the International Foundation for Development and Education (INTFUDE-FUNDAID).

Marien Tucurmán Bualo

Marien Tucurmán Bualo is a Research Fellow at Fundación Internacional Bases. Marien is a literature professor, passionate about teaching and communication in general. After 15 years of working in the media, she decided to engage in cultural battles from the high school level. There, she teaches various subjects, always with a foundation in respecting individual freedom and continuous innovation.
